scNODE is a generative model that simulates and predicts realistic in silico single-cell gene expressions at any timepoint. scNODE integrates the idea of variational autoencoder (VAE) and neural ordinary differential equation (ODE) to model cell developmental landscapes on the non-linear manifold.
